...all over the state of Arkansas that stretched into today when the threat ended about 2:00 AM. One of the areas where the most structural damage occurred is a place I've gone on several occasions. I drove out there this morning and among other things, [this house is gone] and [this barn is gone].

The roofs of the other structures were stripped clean of the metal sheeting, but the rafters were in tact. The porches were all torn off and some large trees were uprooted. Along the road, power poles were snapped in half and the upper portion of the poles were standing upright leaning against the lower portion with the power lines attached.

Within walking distant of the structures is a cemetery where light weight plastic flowers were still laying on top of gravemarkers where they'd been placed by loved ones. There were too many people in the area for me to stop and I wouldn't have felt comfortable shooting photos of a fresh tragedy. There was one injury in this immediate area and one death in a nearby county. The house in this image sits about a mile from the destruction and was untouched.
