When we walked by this place I was surprised to see it was a tiny porch where someone lived. It wasn't anything fancy, but as I observed the details there was a loving touch. All the elements of a large home were present, or so it seemed. Even now looking at the image I still feel it.
In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.

I admire your work. There is a unique sense of spacial relationships not seen often in photography.

lovely shot, i'm not sure if the depth of field makes it look bigger or smaller, i should have noticed before i read what you said :)

Your focus point on the background gives a deep DOF and therefore a sense of largeness. Well done!

I think that if one use the resources at hand it is possible to enjoy everything even if it's a small porch. Beautiful capture.

I like how the lines work together so well in this shot. The small porch sound appealing. I got to visit a very large, impressive home recently and came away with more appreciation for my rather compact apartment. Home is a state of mind rather than a building, I decided! :-)

The soft toned colours look lovely, and a nice homely verandah.

Yes, the scene does have a pleasant homely feeling about it. Behind that wrought iron fence it looks safe and seems an inviting, restful and cozy spot to sit. Your focus on the background works nicely too.

It's the small things....the little details that often make a place feel welcoming. I'm glad you see stuff like this and share it.
