  the store i go to uses numbers. they put little stickers on the fruit with the code. there are so many different apples and kinds of lettuce, it doesn't surprise me when the checkers have to look up the code or ask.

• I like your thinking on finding prices. Fine black and white image. I'm glad to see a quote supporting the taking of black and white pictures. I think many of our bloggers wonder why anyone would take B&W pictures when they could take one in color.

9 times out of 10 when I buy it I have to tell the cashier how to find the code number so they can charge me. As soon as they begin looking on the sheet I say, "It's napa, listed in the oriental section". Seems to me if they can't find it on their own they should give it to the customer. I suggested that, but they just laughed.


Black and white photography is a perfect lie. We must not let colour destroy this image.
