• Nice to meet you (kind of!).
  You get a reflection off both the front and back surface of a pane of glass. Part of the light which falls on the front face of the glass is reflected and part passes through. The light which passes through is then refracted and then reaches the rear face. Again part is reflected and part passes through. I think.

• The glass has two surfaces and I believe that's why that happens -- I think because of the lens in the camera it is picked up (due to the curve) but I could well be wrong about that too :)

Remember the image where Matthew looked like a [two headed boy all floating in glass] ?

I figured he must have moved as I was shooting the pic and that's what caused him to be duplicated. Then, tonight when I was going through images I saw this one of me and I know I wasn't moving.

I also know the sign behind me across the street wasn't moving:-)

I figure it has to be the glass. I'm not sure if it's old glass or extremely thick glass or both, but I find it intriguing. Of course I'm easily amused:-)
