Displaying the photography and many times a short story of Sherri Schaefer Bagby. You won't find a list of awards or the gear I use on this page.
Although some photos and writings on this site have been published in newspapers or magazines, as I reflect on these small accomplishments I don't feel I've attained a goal or an achievement worthy of mention. Perhaps someday I'll write a book and then I'll tell you all about it:-)
What began in 2004 as an outlet for the overflow of photos I was shooting for use in web, graphic or printed design for pearweed web design has since become one of my favorite hobbies.
I also have a word blog entitled pearweed simple notes. Surprisingly enough it's a place where I post simple notes.
I often say, "everything I know, I learned the hard way" and so what little I know is posted there in very small bytes as time permits in the hope it may benefit someone else.
On another subject that some ignore and others find controversial and unpleasant, I would be remiss if I ignored it, so here goes.
Through the years as a designer I have had photos, graphics, and entire web sites misappropriated (such a pleasant term for theft) by other "so called" designers and therefore copyright is a sensitive issue with me.
All aspects of this site are © of Sherri Schaefer Bagby & pearweed and all content is protected by Internet copyright laws.
Photos on this site have a watermark. Some marks can be readily spotted while others are hidden by use of transparency. The photography displayed on this site is for viewing purposes only. No content is to be used by any person(s) for any reason, whether it be for profit or for personal use without the express written permission of the site owner.
For those of you who would ignore what you have just read or for those of you who have experienced having your copyright infringed upon there is an interesting page about this subject on Point of Focus that's really worth the read.

Community
As others have well said, "I blog for a sense of community" and if I visit your neighborhood on a regular basis and you don't visit my neighborhood, I get the idea you don't like my neighborhood and if you don't like my neighborhood, then I get the idea I may be intruding in your neighborhood, so I remove you from my bookmarks and visit the neighborhoods where I feel at home.
