• I like the old house next to the ancient tree. They make a fine pair in this shot. I'm not sure what role the rugged looking wall-like construction serves next to the house, but it makes a fine element in this shot. Well done.

...to visit the old home place. It seems fitting to visit these places when spring arrives. Someone used to walk around the yard inspecting the flowers as they push their way through the soil. And we found the tree had survived yet another year. Twisted, bent, broken by the wind and yet it lives on.
