At least for one targeted group of consumers.

Of course the shirt tail has to be left out and Dad says, "Son, you need to tuck your shirt in", and the son says, "Dad, it's supposed to be out", and pointing to the logo says, "See?", and Dad says, "Mom? Is his shirt tail supposed to be left out? It looks sloppy like that.", and Mom says, "It's the style to leave the shirt tail out. See the name? Besides, it's only to cover up the T-shirt. See how he only has the bottom three buttons buttoned?"

It is not the purpose of the ad or commercial to make the reader or listener say, 'My what a clever ad.' It is the purpose of advertising to make the reader say, 'I believe I'll buy one when I'm shopping tomorrow'.
