kyungmee @ 2010-02-25 19:58:26 - Great macro and selective focus!
Yvonne @ 2010-02-25 20:11:54 - I'm convinced you are studying branding :)
Hey, your title is a double entendre. I really like this image and I think it's the contrasts between the denim, the 'button' and that great little 'message'! Hey, that's a double entendre too come to think of it! This is fun!!
Diane @ 2010-02-25 20:58:28 - one of the most clever Sherri...i am a levis girl but this is so cool
elk @ 2010-02-25 21:14:39 - yes i'm completely enjoying this series, as far as a photographic series goes this is my favorite ever, the only other one i enjoy is JJ's bahbahra ongoing shots of his tiny stuffed lamb, but that's not a series.... not like this, and this is so luxurious and beautiful, i really like the lensbaby effect and the fact that you are the world's best ironer :) sorry i forgot to answer that last email... my inbox fills up so fast!!
Elaine- @ 2010-02-25 21:54:28 - Now that's too cool.
Terral @ 2010-02-25 23:12:28 - Great macro and use of focus!
Andrei Barbu @ 2010-02-26 00:06:14 - the way you use the lensbaby it's a delight for the eyes. mine's is getting dusty in the backpack for the moment.
anyway, congrats :)
Romina @ 2010-02-26 01:17:53 - Fabulous, Sherri. I love your title and quote(s)...always what I first see. You are quite the wordsmith, seriously.
Ginnie @ 2010-02-26 01:52:42 - it makes a nice abstract too, we don't have this brand here
yz @ 2010-02-26 03:44:09 - A superb shot Sheeri! I enjoy your series.
Standley @ 2010-02-26 03:48:57 - Another brilliant one in this series, and quite a statement made with this branding LOL
JJ @ 2010-02-26 06:01:02 - I guess that depends on how you define lucky? This has been a great fun series!
Turnbill @ 2010-02-26 06:29:55 - A very nice macro!
Shawn Bierman @ 2010-02-26 07:40:15 - This is so simple yet it works really well! Lucky indeed :)
Arjan - PlasticDaisy @ 2010-02-26 08:37:23 - Great detail and focus . Gorgeous light !
MARIANA @ 2010-02-26 08:59:55 - Lucky You! indeed!
Ken @ 2010-02-26 09:37:38 - A fine close up shot of this interesting apparel innovation...in a world where its difficult to be original! :-) I like the shot and the comment very much. Buttons are enough problem on shirt sleeves but having them on my fly would be a bit too much. Well, I have to say that I wouldn't leave them unbottoned! :-)
Don @ 2010-02-26 09:54:04 - excellent detail - great series
yiannis krikis @ 2010-02-26 10:44:50 - So here's a strange thing. Last night I chucked a pair of Levis into the laundry, when I closed the lid the pocket with the red tab was sticking out and I thought "that'd make a cool shot". Then I was flicking back through my blog and I had a comment from you telling me not to do all my ironing in one go :) so I popped across to see what you'd been up to and find this, spooky!
I digress, this is a very cool shot, I love the point of focus, the blur from the lensbaby and the texture of the denim. Really an outstanding bit of work!
Craig @ 2010-02-26 10:57:02 - A great lensbaby photo, I love the focus.
Scarabaeus @ 2010-02-26 11:33:05 - This is a very cool series. This is another terrific shot.
Chris B @ 2010-02-26 13:19:07 - So who was wearing jeans for the shot?
Nick @ 2010-02-26 13:31:57 - Like the clever title and the selective focus. Great series.
Frida @ 2010-02-26 15:17:03 - very nice focus on the button here. =]
Liang @ 2010-02-26 15:50:32 - Very beautiful photograph, cheer!
foto-rolero54 @ 2010-02-26 17:30:02 - Oh..I have these jeans!! Love your selected point of focus..the exquiste detail.
Marcie @ 2010-02-26 17:31:12 - Esthétique, jusque dans le détail !
JMS* @ 2010-02-27 00:54:29 - Beautiful color, texture and focus in this lovely macro!
Pavan Kaul @ 2010-02-27 04:33:28 - And thanks to you, Sherri - for bringing us 'Luck'. Fabulous capture - and a powerful example of the joyous view you bring to the world around you.
Stephen Phillips @ 2010-02-27 08:46:54 - oh, so if you're really after uniqueness, that's the brand to get.. :D cool one, nice shot! :)
rian @ 2010-02-27 11:29:21 - once again interesting shot with a great use of aperture, very interesting colors and contrasts too
fabrizio @ 2010-02-27 15:44:12 - Very interesting shot. I had never heard of this brand of jeans, but now I'll look for them and try to determine what makes that particular pair special!
Mark Johnson @ 2010-02-28 10:21:04 - cool dof! nice one.
faisal @ 2010-02-28 10:27:37 - Great macro and beautiful details!
Angelo @ 2010-02-28 13:19:52 - Love Lucky jeans...nice shot with great dof!
Susan @ 2010-02-28 14:04:23 - really great capture, Sherri! its a wonderful detail shot :D
Charles Dastodd @ 2010-02-28 18:36:02 - Heh, I like your title. I've seen Lensbaby pictures before, but I couldn't have guessed this one was one of them! I recently got a sample of Lucky's perfume samples and it's one of my favorites :) Ironically, when it comes to their clothes, I'm not a big fan, haha. But I like their concept of no two Lucky brand items are the same.
Mia @ 2010-02-28 19:30:24 - Beautiful.. I've never played with a Lensbaby.. but it seems fun..
Soe @ 2010-02-28 21:06:03 - hahahaha! i love my Lucky Jeans too. and have often thought of a shot like this - or one of the clover leafs on the pocket linings. i'm really glad you did this.
michele @ 2010-02-28 22:39:57 - lucky you indeed. :)
Otto K. @ 2010-03-01 19:30:07 - Really great DOF.
Andy @ 2010-03-04 14:27:52

Lensbaby 3G Selective Focus SLR Lens with Lensbabies 0.6x Wide Angle Lens 37mm
Lucky brand claims no two pair of jeans are identical. This pair has inside front pockets with black clover on white background and a hidden message in the button fly. Unlike many companies Lucky branding is on the inside of the garment.
The first law in advertising is to avoid the concrete promise and cultivate the delightfully vague.
