- 09-10 has been the cloudiest winter on record for North Texas and I'm sure Arkansas hasn't been much different. These wet days with low clouds and thick air have become all too familiar, but they are beautiful in their own way. In the case of this photo it does highlight how everything is connected. There's no separation between the atmosphere and the Earth and the things that live on it.

Elaine- @ 2010-02-09 05:04:50 - I think I can trace the line of a stream meandering across the right background and then the foreground before exiting on the left? Looks like early spring in Maine.

yiannis krikis @ 2010-02-09 12:42:18 - I see what you mean by "they're all connected". I couldn't see one without the other. They're different, yet the same. We've had ridiculous amounts of snow, too. Having a snow day at school is amazing though. :)
Mia @ 2010-02-09 16:06:08 - Love the quote. So simple and so true. Nothing is separated from attachment to something else. Beautiful tranquil image.

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe.
