Our refrigerator has the ice and water on the door and the ice can be crushed or cubed. To each his own; which is why they make that option, but I prefer crushed ice. A few weeks ago we had people over and I began to fill my glass with ice and failed to notice it was on the cube setting. When I realized it was cubes, I stopped, walked to the sink and tossed the ice. When I turned around, two people were looking at me like I’d thrown away a one hundred dollar bill. I said, “It’s just frozen water”. A look of shock came over their faces because I’d read what they were thinking. Smiles ensued.
This past week on the parking lot of the grocery store I noticed this frozen water and recalled that moment so I walked over and snapped this shot with my iPhone.
You can find pictures anywhere. It’s simply a matter of noticing things and organizing them. All the technique in the world doesn’t compensate for the inability to notice.
