no trespassing

Nobody will be trespassing here anymore. This place was completely destroyed in a tornado.

Why don’t they pass a constitutional amendment prohibiting anybody from learning anything? If it works as well as prohibition did, in five years Americans would be the smartest race of people on earth.

Gotta love that Will Rogers quote. So true! When I first saw this light bulb, Sherri, I thought about our apartment when we first moved in. Here in Holland people strip their homes down when they move out. All that’s left is the ceiling socket with a light bulb…and you have to start building from the ground up again. Very different from how we sell and buy houses in the States!

Beautiful composition and soft light. I like the depth of field – it creates a sense of mystery about what other fragments remain.

How sad that this should become an artifact from an older time. Speaking of prohibition, it won’t be long before people are meeting in dark alleys and whispering, “Hey! Buddy! Wanna buy some hundred watts?”

Perhaps the light-bulb hoarders will be known as The Illumi-naughty.

Un endroit certainement insolite. Une ampoule électrique à peine en état de marche et des lieux qui semblent préservés du temps. Un flou superbe et un minimalisme de toute beauté.
